the creative tees
after the beanies, we knew we wanted to take the next step. the idea was simple: drop a tee.
we sampled, tested, and refined until we landed on what felt right: a heavy, 100% cotton, 305 gsm fabric t-shirt. clean, solid, timeless. we kept it minimal with two colors: oat and black. the مبدع (arabic for creative) logo placed on the chest. nothing more, nothing less.
once the tees arrived, we packed the car and drove straight to paris for a shoot. a couple of days later, Nuh went to amsterdam to shoot again with two models who felt like the perfect embodiment of mubdi.
at the same time, we were building our website. Zain worked hard on shopify to build a unique website. and if you’re reading this now, we probably did and we hope you like it.
launching the creative tees meant launching mubdi.world, as well. that first moment when orders started coming in from friends and family felt special. people we gave the chance to pre-order showed love and support, and the feedback we received was all positive.
recently, we also placed a few pieces at coffee gallery / united coupes in den bosch, a spot owned by a close friend in our city. we wanted mubdi to be part of the opening, and it turned into something memorable.
we’re working daily on new ideas and moves. most likely, the next drop will be more heavy cotton tees but this time, expect something different.
